MEET YOUR HOST

I’m Igor, a former professional athlete, three-time world champion, and trained sports psychologist who later moved into business and entrepreneurship.

I’ve spent years performing under pressure and learning what actually drives results. Not hype. Not shortcuts. But clarity, discipline, and focus.

MAF is for people who want to show up sharper in life. Expect practical mindset tools, honest reflections, and a small but necessary dose of humor along the way.

If that resonates, you’re in the right place.

TODAY’S TOPIC

🧠 Most people believe success is a matter of willpower

They think discipline alone will carry them to their goals. But the truth is, your environment shapes your actions long before your motivation even has a chance to show up.

The people you spend time with, the spaces you work in, and the systems you build quietly determine the direction of your life. Change your environment, and changing yourself becomes much easier.

"Environment is the invisible hand that shapes human behavior."

- James Clear

Deep dive

My experience from both sports and business has taught me that discipline alone is rarely enough. The environments we create quietly influence our decisions every single day, often without us realizing it.

When you build surroundings that support your goals, success becomes less about willpower and more about momentum.

"Show me your friends and I'll show you your future."

- Dan Pena

Deep dive

The people around us set the standard for what we consider normal and possible. Being surrounded by ambitious, positive, and driven individuals pushes us to raise our own expectations and actions.

Choosing your circle carefully is one of the most important decisions you can make for your future.

"Stay away from negative people. They have a problem for every solution."

- Albert Einstein

Deep dive

Negative energy is contagious, and spending too much time around it can slowly drain your motivation and confidence. Challenges are inevitable, but the difference lies in whether people focus on obstacles or opportunities.

Protecting your mindset means intentionally seeking out those who bring solutions, optimism, and constructive thinking.

📌 ON A PERSONAL NOTE

Moving Changed Me More Than I Ever Expected

Looking back, every city I have lived in has changed the way I think and made me a richer person. Moving from Serbia to college in California, then spending time in Azerbaijan and Italy, before finally settling in Berlin, exposed me to different cultures, ambitions, and ways of looking at life. Each place gave me new friendships, meaningful relationships, valuable connections, and, most importantly, new ideas that continue to shape the person I am today.

I truly believe that one of the best things you can do for yourself is to step outside your usual surroundings and question what you believe is possible. Growth happens when you put yourself into unfamiliar environments, meet people who think differently, and challenge the assumptions you've always had. Every place I've called home has left its mark on me, and together, they have helped create the life I am living today.
