👉 Which feels harder to you right now: staying where you are or making a change?Choose your answer below |
Quote 1:
“Quitting you worst habit will change your life faster than starting your best habit. Stop the leak before you fill the bucket.”
- Sharra Srivatsaa (entrepreneur, investor, coach, speaker, author)
People often focus on what they lack in life and chase after it. But when we step back and observe the goal itself, we see two choices: we can push harder toward achievement, or we can simply stop standing in the way of it.
At the end of the day, what’s more impactful? Struggling to build a new good habit that takes time to stick, or eliminating the bad one right in front of you? It’s about what moves the needle faster. And often, cutting out the negative has the greatest impact.
Quote 2:
“Change is painful, but nothing is as painful as staying stuck somewhere you don’t belong.”
- Mandy Hale (author, blogger, speaker, women’s advocate)
This one cuts deep into the main life question – shall we choose the pain of being stuck where we are, or the pain of transformation and change? To be honest, I feel like both are legitimate options, although the latter is a clear choice for me personally. Nevertheless, whatever you choose, be conscious about it and make sure to put your weight behind your choice. Be deliberate about it.
Quote 3:
“The first sign that someone is changing, is when their words start changing.”
- Shaan Puri’s “5 Tweet Tuesday”
Read that again and think about the people you know and the vocabulary they use. Is it positive or negative? Optimistic or pessimistic? Do they speak eloquently or like a thug?
Our words mirror the internal world we live in. They reveal the truth about what and how we think. And ultimately, how we think becomes the building block of who we become.
On a personal note — Last evening, I was invited to dinner with an individual I first met through a collaboration between the company I work for and his company. To be totally transparent, we know each other because I sold them our software, lol.
Nevertheless, during a business dinner some months ago that I organized, I pitched him and his colleague my newsletter, and they subscribed. I didn’t think much of it at the time, aside from hustling to get more subscribers (typical Igor…).
But last evening, he invited me for dinner. I didn’t think too much of it until he revealed that he felt like the newsletter was speaking to him. That his current circle of friends and colleagues didn’t match his energy and hunger for life. They didn’t share the depth and drive for improvement he was looking for, but he found it in what I write about.
Simply put… he wanted us to spend time together. I was so moved by this gesture that I felt the need to share my gratitude here with all of you.

Next level gratitude 😅
