MEET YOUR HOST

I’m Igor, a former professional athlete, three-time world champion, and trained sports psychologist who later moved into business and entrepreneurship.

I’ve spent years performing under pressure and learning what actually drives results. Not hype. Not shortcuts. But clarity, discipline, and focus.

MAF is for people who want to show up sharper in work and life. Expect practical mindset tools, honest reflections, and a small but necessary dose of humor along the way.

If that resonates, you’re in the right place.

TODAY’S TOPIC

Move. Take action. Now.

Think about the things you want to do or accomplish this year –the things that would truly fulfill you. What can you start with today? What can be the first step?

"You can't make time go faster or success come sooner. The only thing you can control is the next action."

- James Clear

The key question here is: what can you actually do to succeed in life? What is within your power?

If you think about it, the outcome and success themselves are simply byproducts of the actions we take between the initial effort and the final result. Focus on one action at a time, because that is the only thing truly under your control.

"Once you've started, you're halfway there."

How often have you had an idea of something you would like to do or become, and it ended exactly there – just a thought? You would be surprised how much of getting things done in life is simply about taking the first step. If you need to clean the house, start right away and you will finish it. If you need to study or do some work, start right away and you will be amazed by how much progress you make immediately.

The first step is so much more than just one step in a journey, it is a vote for your commitment to future success.

“It’s never the wrong time to do the right thing.“

- Scott Galloway

This one leans a bit into Stoicism… but hey, you know me, I love it 😄. The “right thing” can be interpreted in many ways, but there is one common thread: the right things are done here and now. If you show up late, it’s not ideal – but it’s still better than not showing up at all. Do the right thing, and do it now.

ON A PERSONAL NOTE

My First Step in 2026

I’ve been thinking a lot about what my first step toward a bigger goal or process for 2026 should be. And I feel like this is the best place to make my commitments public. Since I’ve been bad at running my whole life, my goal is to run a half marathon. What can go wrong lol.

I’m curious how many friends will call me out on this promise now that it’s officially out there 😂
