MEET YOUR HOST
I’m Igor, a former professional athlete, three-time world champion, and trained sports psychologist who later moved into business and entrepreneurship.
I’ve spent years performing under pressure and learning what actually drives results. Not hype. Not shortcuts. But clarity, discipline, and focus.
MAF is for people who want to show up sharper in life. Expect practical mindset tools, honest reflections, and a small but necessary dose of humor along the way.
If that resonates, you’re in the right place.

TODAY’S TOPIC
🧠 We glorify hard work. Maybe a little too much.
Work harder. Wake up earlier. Do more. Push through.
But since when did working hard become the goal?
Hard work is a tool. Nothing more.
If you don't know where you're going, working harder just gets you to the wrong place faster. But when you know exactly what you're trying to build, achieve or solve, something interesting happens.
The work is still difficult. The hours can still be long. But it doesn't always feel like hard work.
It feels like solving a problem you actually want to solve.
So maybe the question isn't:
“Am I working hard enough?”
Maybe it's:
“Do I know what I'm working towards?”
Answering this last question is so so hard, yet sooo crucial to moving forward in a productive manner in life. Today I challenge you to answer it!
“There is surely nothing quite so useless as doing with great efficiency what should not be done at all.”
Deep dive
Being busy doesn’t mean you’re moving forward. You can work incredibly hard and still be heading in the wrong direction. Before asking how hard you’re working, ask whether the work actually matters.
“Far and away the best prize that life offers is the chance to work hard at work worth doing.”
Deep dive
Hard work isn’t the problem. Working hard for something you don’t care about is. Find something worth the effort, and suddenly the struggle has a purpose.
“Work is love made visible.”
Deep dive
When you genuinely care about what you’re building, work starts to feel different. It can still be difficult and exhausting, but you’re no longer just working hard. You’re solving a problem you actually want to solve.
📌 ON A PERSONAL NOTE
🚀 Making moves.
New company. New role. New challenges.
That is how I would describe this week, now also officially.
It has now been about a month and a half since my last job ended and I started plotting some interesting new stuff, my next move, which is now also public.
That being said, my approach this time around to what I want to and need to do has changed completely.
First things first, I decided that my new goal is so worth going after that the time frame for achieving it has nothing to do with my effort. I am just going to work at it until it succeeds or until it fails. So there is actually no rush.
Secondly, I decided to be thorough. I tend to let my ADHD get the better of me, and sometimes the work that needs to be done gets just kind of done, and with questionable quality. So now I deep dive every step of the way.
And finally, since what I decided to take on is so me, work is not work anymore. Now it is just the excitement. I fall asleep thinking about my next moves and solving the problems ahead, and I wake up thinking about the same things. So now I am not being dragged to do something, but naturally pulled towards something I want.
All in all, it is crazy to observe how much more effort, focus and grind one has when put in the right environment, chasing the right goal.
I found mine, and I truly hope that all my friends and family will continue to love me even though I am constantly bringing my business up and making it a topic all the time.
Love you! ❤️😁
P.S. I will be breaking my Wednesday only email setup this week, as I want to share with you all this coming Friday what the new business is about and how you can be a part of it too!
