MEET YOUR HOST

I’m Igor, a former professional athlete, three-time world champion, and trained sports psychologist who later moved into business and entrepreneurship.

I’ve spent years performing under pressure and learning what actually drives results. Not hype. Not shortcuts. But clarity, discipline, and focus.

MAF is for people who want to show up sharper in life. Expect practical mindset tools, honest reflections, and a small but necessary dose of humor along the way.

If that resonates, you’re in the right place.

TODAY’S TOPIC

🧠 ARE YOU AT THE PLACE THAT IS RIGHT FOR YOU?

Today, I’d like to open your mind and honestly approach the topic of your work environment, the team you’re working with, and the calling you aspire to.

Keep this in the back of your mind as you go through today’s quotes, and answer the question at the end of this email:

Are you in the place that’s right for you?

Reset Your Energy and Feel Lighter With a January Liver Reset

January is the perfect time to reset, rebalance, and support your body after the indulgence of the holidays. If you’re doing Dry January or simply craving a fresh start, focusing on liver health can make a powerful difference—and it’s one of the most overlooked wellness rituals.

That’s why I’ve made Pique’s Liver Detox Protocol part of my January reset. Inspired by over 3,000 years of Traditional Chinese Medicine, this gentle daily ritual supports your body’s natural detoxification processes without harsh cleanses or deprivation.

The protocol includes two simple moments a day: Electric Turmeric in the morning and La Ginger in the evening. In the morning, Electric Turmeric feels warming, grounding, and nourishing—like a calm reset before the day begins. At night, La Ginger is bold and soothing, supporting digestion and overnight renewal.

Within weeks, I noticed steadier energy, less bloating, clearer skin, and an overall lighter feeling. It didn’t feel like a detox—it felt like alignment. Two small rituals, big results.

Deep dive

So often we tend to blur the line between hard and outright useless use of time. Or even worse, we end up associating hard work with meaningful work. Do not fall into this trap: hard work is not hard if it is fulfilling. Or at least it is not miserable.

“If you love what you do, they could not pay you to stop.”

- David Senra

Deep dive

Think of some great entrepreneurs, athletes, and various professionals of all sorts… they are so into what they love doing that, more often than not, they would never agree to stop practicing their craft. They are just obsessed. That is what I wish for you and me, and every other reader out there:

Build a life you love so much that stopping isn’t an option.

“Organization is like a party. You only want to invite people who bring the vibe up.”

- Brad Jacobs

Deep dive

This one hits so well to me personally! The organization is like any other entity (any business, family, group of friends): an average of all the participants. So why not invite into your close circle the people who bring the vibe up? You would do that for a party, I am sure of it. So why not do the same everywhere else in your life?

Protect your energy. Invite only the people who elevate it.

ON A PERSONAL NOTE

Personal Goal Alignment

I already talked about my goal for this year, which is to run a half-marathon. This is something I wanted to do two years ago and failed due to injury. Now, reflecting back, I realized that I was pushing myself too much, expecting a certain result and a certain time. I got into my old “got to be the best” athletic mode, which I was neither ready for nor physically capable to take on as a challenge. Long story short, this year my Misogi will again be the half-marathon, but this time around it is about enjoying the journey every day, every run, and every step of the way.
