When was the last time you felt butterflies in your stomach? When was the last time you were so excited about something that you couldn’t sleep at night?
To be honest, that is exactly how I’ve been feeling over the last week or so. And guess why? Because of this newsletter that you are reading, dear ladies and gentlemen.

I know it sounds crazy, but it has been growing fast lately, and I have some amazing things coming up as an extension to the email. Stay tuned as some incredible stuff is on the way!

That being said, I have to give a shout-out to all of you, my dear readers, for showing up every week and supporting this medium of communication of mine, helping it grow way faster than I ever imagined. So thank you, so, so much!

Now, let’s dive in.

Quote 1:

“You grow or you die.”

- Phil Knight (Nike founder, global sports titan)

Have you ever wondered what is the opposite of growth? I took a lot of thought on this topic. I even brought our best friend ChatGPT into the discussion to see what would come up. Top three results: stagnation, decline, and regression.

If we take stagnation, which implies some sort of status quo (which I do not believe in) the other two do present the step away from life, a step towards decline and regression to the opposite. So Phil Knight nailed it in so many ways when he said that you either grow or you die.

Quote 2:

"Consistency enlarges ability."

- James Clear (author, habit expert and speaker)

As the subject of this week's newsletter already entails, all the good things are a part of a process – consistency. So if we are consistent in what matters, our ability to be productive and good at what we do becomes that much greater.

Practice the art of love and connection – see how much deeper your relationships will become.
Practice your body – and you will see how much healthier and stronger you will get.
Practice the art of business – work on your craft and see how much joy and financial freedom you will get from being good at what you do.

Quote 3:

“There is no enjoying the possession of anything valuable unless one has someone to share it with.”

- Seneca (Roman Stoic philosopher and statesman)

I chose this quote to finish this newsletter because I cannot stress enough how important it is not to get lost in our goals. Yes, we are all on the move, aiming to get better and improve – that is how it should be. However, do not forget that the process is the key, and even more so, the process we share with those around us.

Dreams are not as beautiful if you dream alone.
Free time is not as much fun if you spend it alone.
Money is not worth much if you have no one to share it with.

Do not forget the people around you who support you on your path toward the greatness. Keep them close and give them love.

On a personal noteThis topic is really close to my heart. Many years ago, when I was rowing for the Serbian Rowing National Team and competed on the junior level, I was mostly alone and on my own. My whole life came down to rowing and nothing else. No friends in school, no birthday parties and celebrations, no family gatherings. I literally pushed everything and everyone around me away except my mother and, to an extent, my grandparents from my mother's side. I did this for many years until the first time I became a world champion.

Guess what happened when I finally won my first world title? I became the most disappointed and depressed athlete I knew. The natural question came: What the f**k was the point of it all when I am all alone?

Learn from my mistakes. Enjoy the process. Invite people you love for the ride we call life. Trust me, it is more enjoyable and fun that way.

All about that that growth 😎
